The CD-ROM
9 whole books have disappeared from the mice’s library! It must have been Furbix… That mischievous cat doesn’t want the little mice to learn too much by reading! But Teo, the brilliant mouse librarian, knows that with the help of his assistants he will be able to find the missing books and teach that cat a lesson… This is the narrative setting which will help children approach the world of reading and acquire the essential prerequisites: presented as fun and exciting timed challenges, the children will learn to test themselves with hearing and phonological activities and also activities regarding discrimination and recognition of figures, symbols and letters and finally syllables and words. Motivated to find out where the missing books are, young users will progress in a programme of acquisition and consolidation of metaphonological abilities and those related to perception, attention and visual memory, which form the basis of learning how to read and write.
In order to increase motivation and involvement, all the games are structured around several levels of difficulty and envisage a limited number of tries and a countdown.
