THE MINI BLOCK PADS
The mini block pads are workbooks aimed at children aged 3 to 6. They offer educational activities and games designed by educational professionals, which aim to accompany and support the children’s development.
The LITTLE PIRATES mini block pads series is designed to develop the prerequisites for school and is composed of:
1. The little pirates and the greedy treasure – 3 years
2. The little pirates and the funny treasure – 4 years (release May 2021)
3. The little pirates and the precious treasure – 5 years (release May 2021)
Thanks to the practical format, the mini block pads are the ideal companion both at home and on the road.
All of the proposed activities are designed to be carried out independently, thanks to simple and immediate instructions, and are accompanied by playful and amusing images.
THE LITTLE PIRATES AND THE GREEDY TREASURE
The little pirates and the greedy treasure is a mini block pad dedicated to 3 year old children. It offers 48 activities, organized in order of increasing complexity and alternating between activities to facilitate the development of 4 fundamental skills:
PRE-GRAPHISM
Among the proposed pre-graphism activities there are paths to follow, dotted figures to trace, drawings to complete, etc.
VISUAL-PERCEPTUAL SKILLS
Among the activities proposed to develop visual-perceptual skills are matching exercises, shadow recognition, sequences to be completed, coding, etc.
LOGICAL- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Among the activities proposed to develop logical-mathematical skills are numeration exercises, quantity / number combinations, quantity comparisons, sets, recognition of geometric shapes, etc.
COMPREHENSION AND SEMANTICS
Among the activities proposed to develop understanding and semantics are exercises such as “find the intruder”, verbal dictations, groupings by semantic area, etc.
The method of execution for the activities, which can involve colouring, connecting, circling, or cutting and pasting, are immediate to the child (with the mediation of the adult who reads) thanks to the clear layout of the page and the simple and immediate instructions.
The child will have to help the pirates in their search for the greedy treasure by carrying out the various activities proposed and placing the stickers of the sweets found on the sheet at the end of the book on the 6 pages with the key icon.
At the end, the child will be able to color the chest with the discovered treasure and become part of the pirate’s crew!
