Play paths for building the harmonious development of children
The 10 Activities to Do Together in The First 3 Years is a new volume created by the Babylab research center of the University of Padua which aims to provide useful indications for parents to create ten fun activities to be done together with their children between the ages of 0 and 3 years. It is precisely during this age group that children begin to be intrigued by what surrounds them and learn to understand the world using their five senses. For this reason, the proposed games accompany children on a path for strengthening and developing communication skills.
This book is part of the editorial series From Me to Us, that includes From Me to Us and From Me to Us 2-3 Years in which the authors intend to offer helpful suggestions to educators and professionals to best support the cognitive, socio-relational and brain development of children in the first years of life.

The Series – From Me to Us
From Me to Us is an editorial series born from the experience of the Babylab researchers at the University of Padua, with the aim of investigating the development of mind and brain in the first years of life. The volumes, From Me to Us, From Me to Us 2-3 Years, and The 10 Activities to Do Together in the First 3 Years, in fact, suggest a series of paths – differentiated by age and target – to enhance children’s communication skills through different areas: visual, tactile, auditory, linguistic, and motor. The strong point of the research center is the multidisciplinary team: each author – as well as researcher – has made their skills and experiences available to others to create a rich and complete programme.
