A gym for the mind

A gym for the mind

The A gym for the mind series is a personalised “gym” with a variety of worksheets and activities designed to effectively train cognitive abilities, helping to delay the effects of cognitive decline in elderly people, and improve their quality of life.

The practical tools provided in the volumes are simple and easy to use, making them ideal for daily use with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and their families.

The related workbooks series, recently started, is designed to help older people train their mental abilities daily, counteracting cognitive decline and the brain ageing.

Through simple exercises and activities focused on specific topics, combined with colourful images, these workbooks spark curiosity and engagement with new cognitive challenges. Each workbook is structured around a central theme that connects the activities, all written in clear and accessible language to encourage independent use by older people.

Every week includes a variety of food-related activities, such as word searches, exercises to identify hidden phrases or mistakes, and a final quiz with questions on the topics covered throughout the week.
