Starting from concrete situations, which are initially very simple and gradually more complex, this workbook involves children from lower secondary school in the “construction” of rules and concepts to solve geometry problems. The book presents concrete situations drawn from the daily lives and experiences of children. This allows the children to construct geometric concepts in a “non-traditional” but easy and intuitive way. Starting from the problem situation, students are motivated to seek the result, which is also the solution to the problem.

The book is structured in two parts. The first part proposes activities for the “construction” of knowledge and consists of 10 worksheets, marked with the “Experiment” card; the second part, on the other hand, proposes structured exercises to strengthen the knowledge already acquired and is made up of 10 other worksheets, marked with the “Consolidation” card.
