SR 4-5 School Readiness Materials

After a theoretical framework on the concept of School Readiness and the presentation of the enhancement programme, this volume offers a collection of 50 targeted and fun activities.  A programme that can be integrated with curricular planning, aimed at supporting the development of basic learning prerequisites, from the perspective of preventing delays or difficult situations in addition to promoting the well-being of 4-5 year old children by preparing them to enter primary school with serenity and enthusiasm, while simultaneously helping them consolidate the following areas of development:

• linguistic
• phonological
• logico-mathematical
• symbolization
• psycho-motor development
• socio-emotional development.

The materials can be used together with the SR 4-5 School Readiness test (edited by Zanetti and Cavioni, 2021), which allows for the early identification of the children’s areas of weakness, to prepare personalized educational courses for strengthening and support.
