Created in cooperation with the Fondazione Montessori Italia and Montessori Craft, this new series of educational tools, inspired by Maria Montessori’s pedagogical approach, encourages children to memorise combinations of basic calculations and learn logical analysis in an easy, fast, fun and completely natural way.

By manipulating the objects contained in the boxes, children learn more naturally. Furthermore, by repeating the exercise, they implement a self-correction mechanism that will lead them to no longer make mistakes and to ease learning basic mathematical operations and logical analysis.

The Maria Montessori educational approach

The educational approach which derives from Maria Montessori’s experience, which is still recognized today for its innovation, was founded based on essential points which, generally speaking, deal with:

1. the quality of the educational environment (physical and tangible, with which the child must be able to practice his/her intelligence);
2. the child as the protagonist of his/her development;
3. the adult with an intermediary role between the child and the environment (like a true director of the interaction process between the two).
