Can philosophy really be done in kindergarten? With what meaning? In what way?
Yes, there are questions, stories and experiences that, as early as kindergarten, allow you to have conversations “charged” with wonder and philosophical tension that makes them different from other types of conversation.
The history of philosophy teaches that wonder can arise both from considering questions and phenomena that appear new and distant from ordinary experiences, and from looking at things in a new way, seeing ordinary experiences and the things we have every day right under our noses “with fresh eyes”.

THE AUTHOR
Luca Mori has a PhD in Philosophical Disciplines and he is a History of Philosophy professor at the University of Pisa. He has been designing and conducting philosophy workshops with children and adolescents for years. Among his projects is a journey of over 10,000 km throughout Italy to propose the mental experiment of utopia to children between 5 and 11 years of age. He collaborates with the Collegio San Carlo Foundation and the Municipality of Modena, with TSMSTEP (School for the management of the territory and the landscape of the Autonomous Province of Trento) and with schools in various Italian regions and European countries.
