This volume provides indications for working on dysfunctional behaviours that can occur even in the typically developing child who has not received a specific diagnosis, but who needs to be supported in managing certain behaviours that cause stress to the child and those around him/her.

Overcoming the classic approach of many manuals on Parent Training, this volume has the following aims: to allow the clinician a quick and practical consultation when certain problem behaviours of the child arise; provide strategies even when the criteria for a specific diagnosis are not met, but problem behaviours that are difficult to manage are present; provide strategies even when the primary diagnosis does not involve a Parent Training intervention but it is necessary to intervene on the problem behaviours.
