The PERSONALISED TESTS series of books offers primary school teachers specific material for assessing pupils, amongst which, tests on main subject content and tests for assessing competences applied to real-life contexts. It also provides effective strategies for creating personalisable assessment methodologies.
Each test is offered in three versions of varying levels of complexity to allow pupils to best demonstrate what they have actually learnt.
Basic test
Exhaustive and designed for the whole class, it contains all the basic elements for subsequent facilitation and simplification
Facilitated test
With examples or visual aids which facilitate the test without reducing its level of difficulty (overall), for pupils with vulnerabilities or SLD (law 170/10)
Simplified test
With an overall reduction of the test and with simplified lexis, for pupils with more severe cognitive difficulties (law 104/92)
Competence assessment tests, which are provided as individual or cooperative learning tests, are structured on activities which are mainly interdisciplinary and are based on the following real-life tasks:
– Organising information
– Rebuilding an ancient game
– Presenting content
– Making a leaflet.

Competences
The reader's diary
An Egyptian game

Publicising a monument
A good class isn't a military regiment marching to the same beat, but an orchestra working on the same symphony. The now famous quote by the French writer Daniel Pennac does not only refer to the complexity of going to school and the variety of approaches pupils take, but also the path to follow.
Pennac suggests working through competences, in a personalised way, as is proposed in the Personalised Tests series, which contains specific material for assessing primary school pupils, amongst which, tests on main subject content and tests for assessing competences applied to every-day real-life contexts.
