What do Leonardo da Vinci, Steven Spielberg, Albert Einstein and George Clooney have in common?
Their dyslexia, or in other words, the tenacity they demonstrated in managing to overcome the difficulties related to this learning disorder, bringing out their creative potential.

Eagles are born to fly offers an original take on dyslexia and accompanies the reader in understanding this complex and extraordinary characteristic, from predictive signals to new methods of learning, right to the development of creative genius.
The book offers teachers and parents numerous practical suggestions and a surprising gallery of biographies of illustrious celebrities from the past and the present, believed to be or known to be dyslexic.
The book centres around the following key points:
• What is dyslexia today
• The state of research in recent years
• Alternative learning strategies
• Visual-spatial abilities and creativity in dyslexia
• Biographies of dyslexic geniuses

«We see a bright dot, his mind shows him the sky…»

And that was when I looked up from the book and caught a glimpse of a picture my son had done laying on my desk: a perfect and imaginative representation of the word «water» on a sheet in his notebook (they were working on a project about water at school); I thought for a instant about all the problems I have with him and his dyslexia… my son also had some genius traits and until today I had only ever seen his difficulties, his exaggerated personality; exaggerated in everything he does, but also passionate about the things that he likes.
